What is Cupping therapy?
Cups are used in the technique of cupping therapy, which uses suction to create negative pressure on the skin.
Traditional cupping therapy is used to treat lung conditions like
1.Asthma 2.Cough 3. Bronchial congestion
Types of Cupping
Sliding cups
Back pain and muscular spasms are frequently treated with the sliding cup technique. To help the cups slide over the skin's surface more easily, massage oil is applied.
Air cupping
Air cupping helps increase blood circulation. It is a non-flame alternative to fire cupping, employs a hand-held suction pump to remove air from the cups and produce a vacuum
Wet cupping
In wet cupping, the acupuncture technique of bleeding is combined with cupping. The goal of this procedure is to eliminate internal toxins. Using this approach, inflammatory disorders are treated.
Flash cupping
This technique, also referred to as empty cupping, involves applying cups quickly and repeatedly with keeping little retention. It encourages circulation throughout a wider area and relieves local congestion.
How long do cupping bruises last?
Some might disappear completely after a few hours, while others might take up to two weeks. The colorations are caused by the body's state at the time of cupping.
