Sleep Paralysis

What is sleep paralysis?

When you are sleeping, you get a feeling of getting strangled, and you will not be able to move your hands and legs, yet you will be wide awake. It is natural to think that you might be experiencing some paranormal activity. But it is not true.

Sleep paralysis occurs when you complete a sleep cycle and shift to the next cycle. When you are in a deep sleep, the brain will be awake, and the other organs will be at rest. So, it will take some time for the signal from the brain to reach other parts like the legs and hands.
