Include antioxidants in the skincare routine using products like vitamin C, niacinamide, vitamin E and retinol.
Hydratethe skin
It is advisable to stay indoors and hydrate the skin by increasing water intake. Also, moisturise the skin externally.
Apply sunscreen
Excessive sun exposure tans the skin and also results in skin problems. Use sunblock with SPF 30 or higher to protect the skin.
Avoid heavy makeup
Heavy makeup product usage will result in patchy skin. Heat can harm the makeup quality as well. Use no or less makeup during summer.
Care for eyes, lips and feet
Moisturiser and sunscreen should be applied around the eyes and on the feet. Lip balms with SPF can be preferred.
Choose seasonal fruits & vegetables
Due to their nutritional content, seasonal fruits and vegetables like watermelon, muskmelon, bottle gourd, and pumpkin help prevent summer skin problems.
