HEALTH CHECKUP PACKAGES
A preventive health checkup means a medical examination made to identify potential health issues early on before they go serious or result in significant health complications. Preventive health checkups empower persons to determine potential health problems early, enabling intervention at time and treatment. Regular health checkups provide numerous benefits, like early disease detection, prevention of future health issues, and improved overall well-being. This may enable healthcare professionals to determine any health risk factors. Preventive health checkups could help reduce healthcare costs over time. Star Health Insurance offers a maximum deduction of Rs. 5,000 each financial year for preventive health checkups under Section 80D of the Income Tax Act. This 80d preventive health checkup deduction is applicable for checkups for the insured, their spouse, dependent children, and parents. This preventive health checkup limit is separate from the overall health insurance deduction limit. Our Star Health offers the best preventive health checkup packages.
Health Check up at Home
We are glad to inform you that we have created “Home Collection Facility” to avail health check-up benefit for the Insured, who can avail health check-up packages to the extent of their eligible amount available under their health policies. There are 15 packages available under this facility. Each package covers different groups of tests. The pathological test packages (consisting of 12 Nos) can be availed at Insured’s door step and the rest of the packages can be availed at the tied up Diagnostic centres. The Home Collection service will be rendered by our vendors, whose contact details are available in our website.
How it Works (Process flow):
- Insured calls to our Toll Free number: 1800 102 4477 to know his/her eligibility and to book the health check-up package.
- Upon validation and completion of booking process, the vendor would call the insured to fix an appointment.
- Vendor will collect the samples at the Insured’s doorstep.
- Reports will be sent to the insured by e-mail.
Based on the results of report, vendor would also advise the dietary and lifestyle changes on prevention and wellness. All eligible Insured can avail this facility from 19th August 2019.
