I have claimed my premium once, when my daughter fell ill and her hospital bill came up to Rs. 25,000 and I received it in less than 2 hours.
I have claimed the premium twice, in the first instance I had to pay only Rs. 700 for a hospital bill of around Rs. 18,000 and the second time I had to pay Rs. 900 for a bill of Rs. 32,000. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they have a special package even for cardiac patients.
I have been Star’s happiest customers since its inception in 2006, I have called their helpline a couple of times when I fell ill and received good advice from them. By the grace of god, I haven’t had any incident big enough to claim my premium but I am extremely happy with Star and their service.
Unfortunately in 2016 I suffered a heart attack and it was a Sunday and I didn’t have all the money in cash. I underwent an angiogram and an angioplasty.
