What is Accident Insurance?

Accident Insurance entitles the policyholder to a fixed payout in case of injury or death due to an accident. Accident Insurance policies provide cover against accidental death, permanent total disablement, permanent partial disablement and temporary total disablement. It also provides educational grant, ambulance charges and other benefits. Accidents are unpredictable and may lead to financial stress besides other worries. Permanent Partial Disability

Temporary Total Disability

A temporary total disability is a state in which the individual is disabled for a temporary period. A comprehensive Accident Insurance policy will extend and cover the insured’s temporary total disability that arises due to accidents. 

Educational Grant

A comprehensive Accident Insurance policy will cover the children's education of the insured. Education grant is provided for a maximum of up to two dependent children in case of death or total permanent disablement of the insured due to an accident.
