Educational Grant

A comprehensive Accident Insurance policy will cover the children's education of the insured. Education grant is provided for a maximum of up to two dependent children in case of death or total permanent disablement of the insured due to an accident. 

Hospitalisation Expenses

Some Accident Insurance policies will cover the in-patient hospitalisation and out-patient expenses incurred due to the accident. Such expenses are indemnified as per the term and conditions of the policy document. 

Hospital Cash

The hospital cash benefit provides a cash allowance for each completed day in the hospital up to 15 days per occurrence for a maximum of up to 60 days in a policy year period. 

Ambulance Cost

Most Accident Insurance policies cover the ambulance expenses incurred for transporting the insured to the hospital due to accidents. Some policies also cover the charges incurred for transporting the mortal remains of the insured to their residence.

No, unfortunately, the premium paid towards the Personal Accident Insurance policy is not exempted from Income Tax.
