Plan Essentials
Mid-Term Inclusion
The newly married spouse, newborn baby and/or legally adopted child can be included in the policy by paying an additional premium. The waiting periods will be applicable from the date of inclusion of new joiners.
Entry Age
Any person aged between 18 and 40 years can avail this policy. Under the Floater basis, a maximum of up to three dependent children aged between 91 days and 25 years are covered.
Special Discount
A 10% discount on premium is applicable on purchasing the policy before 36 years of age and renewing it after 40 years of age.
Star Wellness Program
The wellness points earned for indulging in healthy lifestyle activities can be utilised for availing discounts up to 2-10% at the time of policy renewals.
Additional Basic Sum Insured for Road Traffic Accident
If the basic Sum Insured gets exhausted, then for hospitalisation due to Road Traffic Accidents, it will be increased by 25% to the maximum of Rs. 10,00,000/-.
Instalment Options
The policy premium can be paid on a quarterly or half-yearly basis. It can also be paid on an annual, biennial (once in 2 years) and triennial (once in 3 years) basis. This facility will be available only for the Sum Insured of Rs. 5 lakhs and above.
Medical Examination
Pre-medical test is not mandatory to avail this policy.
